* Due to the AE's popularity the T-51 AE is offered as a "base unit" machine. Printers with earlier models (standard swing-away or S-1) have the option to purchase the AE at a reduced list price when trading in their current T-head.

With the operational and mechanical design derived from the AE model, in addition with added features of automatic impression, clean up attachment, ink fountain lockout, choice of aqua-flow or continuous dampening and new universal plate clamp, the new AE NT is the most automated T-51 produced by Townsend Industries.
